Biblical explanation

Paul writes: “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God” (). Jesus taught: “Take therefore no thought for the morrow” (). His point was not that believers should ignore real responsibilities. He was teaching them not to live consumed by fear about the future. Peter gives a similar instruction: “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” (). The Bible does not condemn a person merely for experiencing anxious feelings. It teaches believers to bring those burdens to God and trust Him while taking appropriate action.

In brief

Paul writes: “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God” ().
