Bible Answers

Does God Exist?

Yes. The Bible presents the existence of God as the foundation of everything else it teaches. It does not attempt to prove God's existence through philosophical argument. Instead, it begins with the declaration, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). Scripture teaches that God's existence can also be recognized through His creation.

Easy to explore Grounded in Scripture Practical for daily life
What we believe A sure foundation of biblical faith We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word, Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God, and salvation is God’s gift of grace received through faith.

These foundational convictions guide Word Oasis and express our commitment to the authority of Scripture, the gospel, and a life centered on Jesus Christ.

  • The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the trustworthy foundation for faith, doctrine, and daily life.

  • The Godhead is one God revealed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  • Creation was God’s purposeful work in six literal days, and every person bears His image and possesses God-given dignity.

  • Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God who became truly human, lived without sin, died for our sins, rose bodily, ministers for us, and will return in glory.

  • Salvation is God’s gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ rather than earned by human works; genuine faith produces a transformed and obedient life.

  • The Ten Commandments express God’s enduring moral law and reveal what love for God and neighbor looks like.

  • The Holy Spirit convicts, renews, guides, gives spiritual gifts, and empowers believers to reflect Christ and share the gospel.

  • Christian hope rests in prayer, fellowship, Christ’s visible return, the resurrection of the dead, final victory over sin, and the restoration of all things.
